Meet the Team

David is a Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and has built up an exceptional bank of knowledge of the property market in both the West Midlands - particularly Coventry and Warwickshire - and nationally. He is now focusing on strategic land.

He began working in the property sector in 1965 with Cartwright Holt, building the business to 14 branches with very strong residential and commercial departments. In 1986 Cartwright Holt opened a London office and in 1988 successfully sold out to Halifax Building Society.

David went on to launch D&P Holt in 1996 and set up sister company Holt Property in 2008. His clients have included Coventry City Council, Advantage West Midlands, Warwick University and Coventry University.

His major successes:

• Actively involved with Coventry Regeneration and was on the LEP Planning Group for Coventry & Warwickshire.
• Introducing and promoting Friargate Coventry - a 3.2 million sq ft mixed commercial development - for the developer.
• Introducing Opus 40, Warwick - a 35-acre mixed use development.
• Acting for some of the major landowners at the Keresley development and securing favourable agreements for them with a major housebuilder.
• Securing 91 acres of land at Dickens Heath - liaising with several Landowners for a large land promoter.

He has many outside sporting interests and regularly plays tennis and golf. David is also a Trustee of the WPH Charitable Trust and Trustee of The Coventry Diocesan Trustees. He is a member of Kenilworth and Old Coventrians Rugby Clubs and Coventry Golf Club. He has 3 children and 5 grandchildren.

Lucy graduated from the University of Oxford in 1998 and was selected for the Unilever Management Training Scheme. She went onto become a Unilever Senior Brand Manager, managing brands including Flora Margarine and PG Tips, before being appointed Head of Communications of Air Miles for British Airways. She later moved to TUI Marketing to launch a new airline, ThomsonFly.

Lucy is a co-founder of Holt Property and specialises in strategic land and has played a central role on multiple sites in Coventry, Warwickshire and the wider West Midlands, securing the best deals for her clients.

Her major successes:

• Identifying future large urban extensions for Coventry and Solihull.
• Identifying and mapping a large urban extension to North Coventry. Acting for some of the major Landowners and securing favourable agreements for them with a major housebuilder.
• Identifying and mapping a large extension to Dickens Heath, securing agreements for a major land promoter.

In her free time she enjoys being a mother to her two young daughters, running, cooking, gardening and travelling.

Anthony co-founded Holt Property Limited in 2008, and is a Director. After graduating from the University of Oxford, he joined Schroders in London where he became SFA Registered as a Securities Representative for the Financing and Structured Products Division of J. Henry Schroder & Co. Limited. During his time there he was primarily involved in private banking in a variety of jurisdictions.

Anthony, an associate member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers, is involved in many aspects of financial administration and sits on the boards of various asset holding and trading companies. Anthony is passionate about strategic land and is a specialist advisor to the company.

When away from his desk, Anthony enjoys spending time with his family. Anthony also enjoys the outdoor life, having competed in one of the world’s toughest footraces through 230km of Brazilian jungle and driven a motorbike to Timbuktu for charity which resulted in Anthony and his team raising £200,000 for charity.

Justin has been recognised in the property market since 2003 initially working alongside David Holt at D&P Holt before moving to DTZ prior to their merger with Cushman & Wakefield specialising in Investment and Development.

Justin has a wealth of both knowledge and experience advising UK institutions, international private equity, Local Authorities, developers, family offices and private clients on assets and land across the property spectrum throughout the UK and Europe.

His major successes:

• Acquired The Green, Solihull for M7 Developments and advised on the 47 acre mixed use regeneration project providing 570 new homes, 154 senior living units and 145,000 sq ft of commercial accommodation.
• Acquired, advised on the repositioning and subsequently sold Opus 40 a 35 acre mixed use development including 85 new homes and 275,000 sq ft of office/ datacentre accommodation and a 122 bedroom Premier Inn.
• Advised a private developer on the 37 acre land assembly and modelling of Friargate Coventry - a 3.2 million sq ft mixed use development.
• Acquired Earlsdon Park, Coventry for The ExtraCare Charitable Trust for their development of 322 senior living apartments.
• Sourced a funding partner for a £19.3m medical facility in Grimsby on behalf a developer.
• Sold Embassy House, Birmingham - a landmark property in the centre of Birmingham.
• Led the Strategic Land Acquisition Program JV between Coventry City Council, Coventry University and the Regional Development Agency.

In his spare time he loves skiing, rugby, outdoor pursuits and has two wonderful young daughters.
